Leaving the vehicle, we will begin our exploration on foot along a trail that will take us to the archaeological site of Ingapirca de Saraguro<\/strong>, where the ancient carved stones of the Inca empire are hidden among the vegetation. From here, we will follow in the footsteps of the Incas by walking along the Great Qhapaq \u00d1an<\/strong>, an ancestral route that will lead us to the community of O\u00f1acapac<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

This map illustrates the route of this unforgettable day: we leave by vehicle from Saraguro to Cerro de Torre, followed by a hike from the Cerro to the community of O\u00f1acapac, a walk of approximately 2.5 hours. Finally, we return by vehicle from O\u00f1acapac to Saraguro. Warning: The hike is at high altitude, so it is essential to be well acclimatized, stay hydrated and take precautions if you are not used to the altitude. <\/p>\n
